What a journey, the Medhane Alem Evangelical Church of OC, has come through!
Even in its weakest moments, when worldliness and carnality heats hard on its walls, when the assault of the enemy is intense and felt like the ship is falling apart, the Church of God has continued to be a witness to the great love and grace of our Lord Jesus as displayed on the cross so also is the story of MAEC of OC. Through it all, I marvel how week after week the Lord poured His grace, granted His presence and restored our fellowship to worship Him in spirit and truth, to hear His Word and be comforted and built up in faith! It's an honor and a personal commitment to always serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the part of His body in OC for past several years along with the elders, the ministry leaders and everyone in the congregation.
I believe MAEC is shaping up beautifully to continue functioning as a living organism and is better structured as an organization to spread the good news of salvation through faith in our Lord Jesus, provide discipleship to the believers and reach out our Ethio-Eritrean community in Southern California with basic needs.
To God be all the glory and praise.
